Apparently there is already a Canadian site for bloggers:

But its alright, that site only offers resources to other blog hosting sites - many of which requires a fee or will display an oversized ad banner that will no doubt be twice as big as any of your posts. So aren't you glad Mack and I started this FREE initiative? ;)
