Today, U.S. House of Representatives approved a bill that bans lawsuits by obese customeres who say they became overweight by eating at fast-food restaurants. Personally, I think this is great! Its time for people to take responsibility of their own actions instead of blaming their lack of will power on a third party. In my humble opinion, their lawsuits are as realistic as someone sueing a video game company for causing them to fail in school. And frankly, I'm sure there are people out there who intentionally eat more at fast-foods just so they can have a shot at a lawsuit. Now with even less incentive to become obese, I predict a sharp drop in obesity of the popoulation.
