Yesterday, I went to the Varscona Theatre with Sharon to watch the play “Shockers Delight”. This romantic comedy starring Ron Pederson (better known as the actor from MAD-TV) and two other actors indulges into a story of lifelong friends and their quest shortly after University graduation to find a career and to get married. With many ironic twists and witty comments, this play leaves one with a smile at the end, and for some (Sharon), a warm fuzzy feeling. While Sharon calls it cute, I like to say it was quite an amusing play but can hardly live up to the title of “Romantic Comedy”. Nevertheless, it was quite enjoyable and the acting was superb!
In other news, Sharon's rabbit likes to mate on her sister's hand. Now thats romantic comedy!
