"Dickson, You are so lazy you would marry a pregnant woman!" - H.S. Math Teacher

Back from China, BPs and Jetlagged for skool!

I got back from Hong Kong yesterday in the early afternoon and all in all, I really enjoyed my trip.  It was a pure vacation with no work, largely thanks to the lack of internet, lots of sleep, food, and a moderate amount of exercise.

I spent the majority of my time in Canton, about a 45 minutes flight east of Hong Kong.  Most of my relatives reside there and it was also where we celebrated my grandma's 100th birthday withover 120 relatives in attendance!  To put it into perspective, we had five generations of our family under one roof!  Its definitely a sight I won't forget and it was also my first experience as one of the MC speaking cantonese.  My brother and I also made a few duets on the piano and violin and if I have time, I might post them up.

I also went on a three day tour of the Hamun province (with my grandma via plane!) and there I visited the “Piano Island”, renowned for the many famous pianists that originated there.  It is also home to a piano musuem that displays over 70 pianos that are a century old.  There are some really interesting styles (including a piano with the keyboard in an L shaped) and hopefully I will be putting up some pictures.  The pictures aren't the greatest but it was the best I could do given the fact I wasn't allowed to take pictures and was being followed by many staff members. =)

Back to the present, I was half forced to goto BPs for dinner yesterday thanks to Andrew and Mack's efforts.  Although I was tired, it was great to see all of you again!  Thanks!

I am also jet lagged at the moment  and will be heading to school in about 2 hours.  Its like I just pulled an alnighter!  Great way to start off the first day of school!
