Yesterday, I celebrated my belated birthday at Boston Pizza with Megan, Mack, Kimmi, Felicia, Chu, Michelle, Jen, Sharon and Yili. And I think Andrew was there too but can't remember. It was quite fun and I got some pretty neat gifts! The non edible (imho) gifts includes a snowboard jacket, 12 jello shooters and a Lord of the Rings piano book. Edible gifts includes lots of cake and pie! Thanks to Felica for initiating the birthday party planning. Thanks to Megan for actually planning the rest ;)
Being a school night, many went home after dinner except for Mack, Kimmi, Felicia and me. We decided unanimously to watch “Hide and Seek” at Silver City and it was quite entertaining though still far from the best. The movie was a little slow at times and I didn't find it too scary either, probably because it did not have any supernatural elements. I would say the actual fear of the movie comes from the realism of the events, which is largely what makes the movie good. Everything that has happen theoretically can happen and we realize this near the end of the movie which provides a nice shock to the audience. On a heart jumper scale, this movie wouldn't score too high. But for its realism, I give it a thumbs up.

I heard on the radio today that BackStreet Boys are returning with a new album in the Spring. Could this be the return of pop music?? Meh, probably not.
