It's been awhile since I've blogged mostly because I haven't had the time. Since my exams, we have been busy working round the clock moving and rewiring our new office. Though its been tiring, it has also been quite fun and exciting!
One interesting incident is that within a 2 day period, our neighboring tenants, Biotools, has knocked on our doors three times telling us to turn the music down. After having a chat with one of their staff, turns out the company, aimed at creating
Poker AI software, is founded by four UofA professors including ones who have taught me. Their employees are actually the professors' grad students and as such, I feel more inclined to keep the music down in fear of backlash from the professors ;)
I've also found downtown to be quite busy nearly 24/7. Parking is hard to find and as I have unfortunately discovered, you can still get a parking ticket at 2 am for parking in a restricted area. Ironically, I was parked there since 7 pm. Go figure.
