Yet another Chinese superstition

Tonight, I attended a Chinese choir dinner to celebrate our recent performance. While we were eating, people were commenting on how I was holding the chopsticks. Apparently, if you hold it near the top end of the chopstick, it means you will marry someone who lives far away. And if you are like me who hold it near the bottom close to the food, it means you will marry someone close. One even said she would be so close that I will end up marrying my cousin. Glad to know! Definitely never heard of this superstition before!
