Today was a really packed day with keynotes and discussions happening back to back. We were also entertained by Phillip Torrone who did two 15 minute demonstrations of gadget modifications. In one case, he loaded linux onto an iPod and demonstrated how you can play games with it. In the other demonstration, he showed us a rotary phone converted into a cell phone and even got the audience members to call it! Pretty hilarious! I also got a chance to test drive a segway. The control is really smooth and can build a speed up to 10 mph. Definitely going to be on my wishlist.
In the evening, we attended a networking party at the Seattle Library in Downtown where we were catered to free finger food and drinks. With a more stable wireless, our Podbot functioned correctly and got quite abit of attentiion from the attendees. I'm glad we made the robot as it gave us a easy way to demonstrate a part of our software and it was definitely a fun evening! Check out

engadget today with possibility of more media coverage from other outlets.
For now, I think I will goto bed having stayed up late everyday for the past week! Tomorrow is the last day of the conference! Tags:
