Last night the Edmonton Chinese Non-Proit Organizations hosted the Alberta Centennial Gala Dinner in support of the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation at the Shaw Conference Center. I was there as one of the many performers and the event turned out to be alot larger than I imagined. There were about 900 people in attendance including many politicians and when I got onto the stage to start off the evening with the national anthem, I was thinking to myself - I should not be winging this haha. There were many performances including kung fu, singing and dancing and the food was quite good (better be for $75 tickets!). I even ran into Joe who was working at the Shaw that evening. There was also a fundraising auction and a draw for a Rolex watch during the dinner and the winner of that draw is:

Guess we know what he is going to bring for show and tell
The event wrapped up around 10:30 pm and they say that the evening raised over $120,000 - most of which came from the auction. I have a few photos
here.
I also got a $150 parking ticket last night bringing the grand total in tickets for this past month to
$337. Driving sure is expensive.
