In a recent
CNN article, it discussed a study that found children who were about to undergo minor surgery to be much more relaxed when in presence of at least one parent and a clown.
Clowns succeeded in distracting the children until the administration of anesthesia, but apparently annoyed doctors and nurses.
If I ever saw a clown right before or during my surgery, the first thing that will come to mind is:
"Doctor, I think you need to drop the dosage!"
