I've had many stories where I've pulled off large projects in a short amount of time "
with ease" but eventually there's a limit and I think I hit one of them this year. As such, I've decided to withdraw from my engineering law class - one day before the class midterm. While it only leaves a
W on my transcript, it leaves a bigger mark in my wallet as no money will be refunded.
I've also tried to bump up my graduation from winter term to fall as theoretically, I have no courses left. But upon review by the undergraduate advisor, she said I was caught between a curriculum change when I transferred into software engineering and as such I'm missing the course CMPUT 114 (introduction to JAVA); a course I would have taken in my second year.
Undergraduate advisor: "You're going to have to take CMPUT 114"
Me: "You're kidding. I'm not taking CMPUT 114."
Advisor: "Go talk to the dean"
So I did and now I have to take an extra tech elective course in the winter semester.
In other news, I heard on the radio today that some person founded an
online internet radio station specifically for cats and dogs. I was curious enough to go check it out and upon tuning in, it was playing a song by Robbie Williams. I'm really not sure how they figure out what is deemed favorable for cats and dogs. Chances are it is just a cheap marketing ploy to get listeners because clearly, dogs and cats rather listen to
Rob Costlow.
