How often have we heard the phrase "don't take things for granted" yet we never truly understand it until it happens. I experienced it this morning when our water heater broke down and with the outside temperature near or below zero degrees, the water was quite cold! To say the least, my morning shower was not very comfortable. My upcoming trip this week to California suddenly seems so much more appealing.
