Looking for a good book to read? The Literary Review of Canada has just released the
top 100 most important Canadian books ever written. Among them are some well known books such as
The Stone Angel, Who Has Seen the Wind, and
Anne of Green Gables. However, only 33 of the books are novels and the rest are mostly non-fiction. Half of the books were published before 1970. For all those who are teaching English, this list might be of some use.
