Christmas definitely is a busy season. Here's an update:
- Attended a Christmas dinner this past Saturday and even did a little piano duet/piano vocal duet. There were also alot of other talented musicians and composers - quite impressed!
- King Kong was really good although some parts felt like they were over done. But regardless, it was an enjoyable 3 hour movie.
- McAfee predicts that the number of malicious software for mobile devices will triple in 2006. I am very curious to see if there will be any malware for the Blackberry. Having worked closely with those devices, I'm quite impressed with their security and the ability to remotely shutdown an application. It almost seems impossible to write an effective malware for the Blackberry.
- A class of grade 6 students exposed Nestle's marketing blunder. Nestle claimed that each year Canadians eat enough Smarties to go around earth's circumference 350 times. For that to be true, each Smarties will have to be 3.5 meters in size.
- Tentatively scheduled a snowboarding trip to Lake Louise on Dec. 27-28
- Today, I saw Chicken Little with a friend (FYI, this friend was my age) and the best word to describe the movie is "cute". It's quite entertaining and even has witty references to other movies like King Kong, Signs, and War of Worlds. We were the only teenagers there with the rest being either kids, parents or grandparents. Next up, Curious George!
- The Bounce hasn't quite replace the void left by 96X. I often find myself flipping channels back and forth.
- Farmer's Market raisin cookies are absolutely irresistable. I literally eat at least three before I goto bed and when I wake up.
- Almost done all of my Christmas shopping!
