In this presentation, David Sifry gave a short lecture about what he thinks makes a good entrepreneur and leader. He then asked how many people in the room are entrepreneurs and seeing more than half of the people were entrepreneurs, he decided to just go around the room and ask each one to introduce themselves and to say one
leadership hack. Some of the best points I think are:
- There is a difference between leadership and management.
- Do the bare minimum to ship the product. Don't get caught up with features that can be added later.
- You're an entrepreneur not because of the money but because you have passion for something.
- Know when to cut and accept a loss.
