Although we've known the results of the local Wes Nicol competition for sometime, we've just been given permission to announce the results. Paramagnus took first place at the Wes Nicol business plan competition winning a prize of $6000 and we were told tonight (by one of the organizers who also attended the TEC Edmonton event) that we have been selected for the national competition! The national competition will take place in Ottawa on March 23rd and will be a great networking opportunity as many business experts and investors will be attending. This does cause a time conflict with the VenturePrize competition as we have to be in Ottawa on the 22nd but I'm sure we will figure it out somehow :)
