TEC Edmonton just issued a press release regarding the
event Mack and I attended a few days ago. Part of the press release includes the winners in the Kick Start category as well as the finalists in the Fast Growth Category. The Kick Start winner is a greeting card company called
Wax Words that makes greeting cards but designed with a beeswax sheet that can later on be used as a candle. Pretty neat idea - its about time greeting cards evolved! Though I'm still waiting for the day we can record messages and have it played through a holographic projection of ourselves upon opening the card. Any companies working on that?
