As many you know, I'll be graduating this semester from Engineering after 5 years of post-secondary. My Iron Ring Ceremony is coming up this Saturday (I'm sure it's not an April fools joke) and it's a solemn ritual where we are given a ring to remind us of our responsibility to the society and the impact we may have on people's lives. I missed the iron ring measurement deadline by almost a month (and the RSVP deadline) as I was caught up with our recent competitions but luckily I was able to set things straight when I got back from Ottawa. My mom also just handed me a letter that was a month old informing me that after two years of safe driving (or uncaught infractions), I'll be graduating from the Alberta's Graduated Driver Licensing program in April provided I pass the final test. What does that mean? It means I will be able to
legally drive between midnight and 5 am - not that I'll be putting the new freedom to use anyways...
