While waiting for the LRT in Central station, three teenagers come down the stairs and try to figure out how to get to University station:
Teen #1: University station should just be one stop away from us. (Central is actually a few stops away)
Teen #2: Are you sure?
They stare at the LRT map. (The north and south end stations are denoted by color dots on the map)
Teen #3: Yeah, see the green dot? Thats where we are - meaning we're just one stop away..
Silence...
"Wait a minute..."
Have you seen a drunk man operate an ATM machine? I was waiting in line wondering what was taking so long as it was a few seconds each time before he pressed a button. After a minute, he surrenders and taking his card back, he just stands there looking blankly at the screen for a few more seconds. Finally, he turns around and tries to stumble his way out.
Me: "Something wrong with the machine?"
Drunk man: "No. Just me."
The joys of downtown on a friday night.
