Today was the first time I watched American Idol (or the last half of it) in months and based on the three performing artists I saw, here is my two cents:
Katharine McPhee: Of the three, she is by far the best performer tonight. She certainly sings with style and her glowing smile doesn't hurt either.
Ace Young: Good range of pitch but sometimes too nasal sounding. Gotta give him credit for being naturally charming and having a strong presence on stage.
Kellie Pickler: Cute as a doll and she acts and talks as if she has never been through a health class. Some of my friends are putting their vote down for Kellie but based on tonight's performance, I think she is undeserving. She lost her rhythm and pitch half way through the song and even when she did hit the notes, her voice didn't sound very strong or confident. But if she asked me in person to vote for her, hands down no question asked, I certainly would!
So the verdict:
Even though Katharine McPhee had the best performance tonight, I think Ace has alot more potential so my vote is for him!
