Happy Spawn (if you're a gamer, think respawn) Day to me! I'm officially 23 today and it feels remarkably different than my previous birthdays. Last year, my birthday was spent preparing our submission for the Alberta VenturePrize and for two years before then, my birthday was spent in Calgary competing at a programming competition.
So when I woke up late this morning, something didn't feel right. I was almost expecting something to happen that would keep me chained at a desk for the rest of the day. But nope, that never came. Not even the Windows Vista launch was going to change that. So what am I going to do for my birthday? We're going to dine at the finest restaurant in town - Denny's (southside)! Thanks for all the birthday wishes and gifts!
Speaking of gifts, here is one worth giving: Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Limited Edition - Signed by Bill Gates.
Though really, I think it would be much more valuable if it was signed by Steve Jobs...but yeah, never going to happen.
