There's no shame in admitting it. I'm a trekky fan. I've watched every Star Trek series (except for the original) and have played every Star Trek game made for the PC. And until recently, I didn't know there was a Star Trek monument dubbed the "Vulcan Space Adventure" just hours from Edmonton. I became aware of them after hearing about their $250,000 virtual reality simulator on Engadget. It's slated to open this summer but if those pictures are any indication of the simulation, I think the $250,000 would have been better spent on relocating the monument from the town of approximately 1762 people to somewhere more travelled. If I happen to pass the town, I may drop by but otherwise, I won't be holding my breath for the simulator.
Fortunately, Star Trek fans need not be disappointed! There's a Star Trek Online game in the works and we are merely months from a beta test!
